 's contest.Theme: Self-sufficiency My thinking behind this is that members of the Earth kingdom are, obviously, self-sufficient, but sometimes to the point where they leave others behind who are hurting and need help. They show off their independence, unaware of anything or anyone else. I didn't want to put blood or anything in here, so tints of red shading on the water tribe girl and fire nation guy represent pain. No airbenders because Aang's the only one, and I wanted this to be pretty present-day, when there are still some unresolved conflicts. I gotta say, this has got to be the cleanest art I've ever submitted--thank you, triple zoom! I am proud of it...for the most part. [headbang] Comments? Critiques? |
